Description

Med Surg Float Pool.

Consistently ranked the #1 Hospital in Alabama by U.S. News & World Report, reflecting exceptional clinical quality and national recognition.

Streamlined submission and review process: UAB prioritizes our candidates, and hiring managers typically provide feedback within 24–48 hours, allowing for a faster placement experience.

High likelihood of contract extensions: UAB frequently offers extensions, demonstrating strong satisfaction with our travelers and providing stability for nurses who want to remain on assignment.

Positive traveler experience: Nurses consistently report excellent experiences at UAB and often choose to extend due to the supportive environment and strong team culture.

-BLS required -48hrs -Previous travel experience required -MINIMUM 3+ YEARS in MS required -SDU experience preferred -GI experience preferred -Ratios; 1:4/5 -31 beds total -Cerner EMR Experience Preferred RNs will be assigned a home unit but may be asked to float. Floating expectation: These unit-based travelers would be expected to float to like units (if necessary), in rotation with UAB unit specific staff. There is a potential that rotation can be changed to ensure that each unit has an ANM/Charge nurse (shift leader) that is familiar with UAB.
