- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
ICU Nursing Float Pool
Travel and previous EPIC exp. are highly preferred.
Will work in ED Holding and float to PCU
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience Required: 2 years ICU experience. EPIC preferred. Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Vent management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, trachs. PCU-Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Chest tubes, lumbar drains, traches, IV med titration (Amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, heparin)
Med-Surg: IVs, PCAs, Chest Tubes, drains, ostomies, IV ABX
All clinicians must also have good communication and patient teaching/education skills.
RN:
ICU-1:2 based on acuity
PCU & CCU - 1:4 depending on acuity or if patient discharging
