A high-performing acute care hospital is hiring a **Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Registered Nurse (RN)** for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. The CDU specializes in cardiac and cardiac/peripheral vascular patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and limited critical infusions. **Shift Details**

· Assigned to day, evening, night, or rotating shifts per departmental policy  

· Scheduled off at least three holidays per year  

· Required to work weekends based on unit needs  

· Occasional overtime expected

**Compensation & Incentives**

· Hourly rate: $33.00 – $52.80 (commensurate with experience)

**Key Responsibilities**

· Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using ANA standards and the nursing process  

· Provide direct nursing care to CDU patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring  

· Act as a patient advocate in a high-acuity setting  

· Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses  

· Utilize equipment and technology skillfully and competently  

· Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care  

· Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

**Requirements**

· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of permanent residency  

· American Heart Association **BLS** certification (required)  

· **ACLS** required within 12 months of employment  

· **NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)** certification obtained during orientation  

· Acute care or telemetry experience preferred
