Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles only)

• Hourly:$38/hr W2 + $1,550/week (non - taxable stipend)
• Gross:$2,918/weekly

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery team. The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout all stages of childbirth — ante partum, intra partum, and postpartum — while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and emotional support. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor, delivery, and recovery, following established protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor and assess fetal heart tones, contractions, vital signs, and maternal progress throughout labor.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, epidurals, and oxytocin as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetric procedures.
• Provide postpartum care and education to mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system (Epic or Cerner preferred).
• Collaborate with OB physicians, anesthesiologists, NICU teams, and support staff to provide seamless patient-centered care.
• Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license of MA.
• ACLS, BLS and NRP required; STABLE preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Fetal Monitoring experience
• COVID Card
