Cath Lab RN Unit: Cath Lab # of Suites/Labs: 2 Average Cases/Day: 10–15 Certifications & Experience RN: BLS, ACLS Rad Tech: ARRT Experience: Minimum 1 year Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience Preferred: EKOS experience (training available) Patient Population / Procedures Diagnostic left/right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, Permacaths Vascular surgeon procedures: filters, venograms Job Duties Rad Techs: Scrub and assist physician, sterile technique RNs: Circulate, sedate, and complete documentation Equipment & EMR Siemens software and equipment Scheduling & Call Shift: 5 days/week, times vary with case schedule On Call: RN & Rad Techs, rotational, 30-min response time Weeknight/Weekend: One week on call per 4-week schedule; breaks allowed Holiday: Rotational Floating: None (optional based on experience for extra hours) Staffing & Orientation Manager/Charge: Director, Coordinator, Charge Nurse Techs: Yes, Rad Techs Orientation: Hospital + Nursing orientation, department computer training, ~36 hours Dress Code Surgical attire provided (lead not provided)
