Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a Level II Trauma Neuro/Surgical ICU on the night shift. This is a high-acuity critical care environment specializing in neuro and trauma patients, requiring strong clinical expertise and the ability to float to other critical and acute care units as needed.

The unit is a 12-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and manages advanced therapies including ICP monitoring, CRRT, and lumbar drains.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neuro and trauma patients
• Monitor and manage patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary critical care teams
• Float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as required

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience
• Level II Trauma ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
