Job Description:
• Role Summary: The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for planning and developing programs to improve patient care and employee performance within the Adult Behavioral Health unit. This role involves monitoring unit performance, collaborating with Nurse Managers, and supporting corrective action plans as needed.
• Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patient care performance across assigned units
Collaborate with Nurse Managers to address operational and clinical issues
Assist with corrective actions and performance improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling
• Experience:
Minimum 7 years of RN experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
Behavioral Health experience required
Assistant Director of Nursing–level experience preferred
• Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Certifications & Licensure:
Active New York State RN License

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
