Position Overview
 

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements
 

• Must be able to work independently after first week
• ARRT (CT)
• Massachusetts radiation control license by start date - can apply upon offer (2-3 week turnaround)
• Must have strong IV skills
• ED trauma experience
• BLS by start date
• 2+ years of experience as a CT Tech
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Willing to train someone with enough experience to adapt quickly
