Summary – Travel RN Labor & Delivery (LDRP) | St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center (Nampa, ID)
- Role: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LDRP)
- Location: Nampa, ID
- Facility: St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center
- Start Date: 02/23/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Openings: 1
- Shift: Nights, 12 hrs (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
- Care Setting: Acute
- Float: Yes – to St. Luke’s Treasure Valley sites (Nampa, Meridian, Boise) within L&D/Mother Baby/Antepartum or as a sitter
- Radius Rule: 50 miles (perm address required with submission)
Unit Details
- Unit: LDRP (patients stay in same room)
- Beds: 14 LDRP
- OR Suites: 2 (RNs circulate & recover C-sections)
- Triage Beds: 4 (travelers staff)
- Birth Volume: ~90/month | ~1,200/year
- Ratios: Per AWHONN standards
- Labor 1:1 (except cervical ripening)
- Postpartum 1:3 couplets
- Triage 1:3 (resource RN added if needed)
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum accepted: 1 year
- Strongly preferred: 3 years L&D + Mother/Baby (1 year preferred)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE (all required)
- License: Active RN license required at submission
- Charting: EPIC | EFM: Centricity
- Drips: Yes – Pitocin, Magnesium, occasional Insulin
- Skills: Attend deliveries, 1-hour newborn care, triage, circulate C-sections, postpartum couplet care, magnesium management
- Charge Experience: Preferred
Staffing & Support
- OB Hospitalist & Neonatal NP in-house 24/7
- Anesthesia in-house 24/7
- Resource RN, Triage RN, Admin Supervisor every shift
- 1 CST per shift; CNA coverage may vary
- Embedded NICU in 7 LDRP rooms
Scheduling & Orientation
- No guaranteed block scheduling (cannot work 6 shifts in a row)
- Weekends & holidays based on unit needs
- Orientation: 24 hrs + 4 unit-based shifts (C/S, labor, postpartum)
- EPIC Curio & compliance must be completed pre-start
