Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Nights | 7 On / 7 Off | Idaho Falls, Idaho | Start ASAP *Up to $3,000/WK*
Role: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech / Radiology CT Technologist
- Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
- Shift: Nights – 7 On / 7 Off Schedule
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours: Average 35.5 hours per week
- Call Requirement: No call required
Schedule Details
- Sunday – Thursday: 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Friday – Saturday: 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM
- Hours: 30 hours one week / 42 hours the next
- Guaranteed Average: 35.5 hours per week based on alternating schedule
Job Description – Travel CT Tech
The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computed tomography scans while ensuring patient safety, accuracy of imaging, and adherence to facility protocols. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders and facility guidelines
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
- Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (CT) Certification – Required
- Active state licensure (Idaho or eligibility)
- BLS / CPR Certification – Required
- Additional general radiology certifications preferred
Experience Requirements
- Minimum Experience: Prefer 2+ years of CT experience
- Preferred Experience:
- Cerner EMR experience
- Experience with Canon Aquilion CT scanner
- Prior travel or hospital-based imaging experience is a plus
