Position Details:

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Tentative Start Date: March 9, 2026
Shift: Full-Time PM Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians and families
Complete resident assessments and documentation
Administer medications following the 5 Rights
Perform wound care and ongoing assessments
Assist CNAs with call lights and resident needs
Monitor residents for changes in condition
Act as a leader on the floor, directing care as needed
Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to leadership
Maintain accurate and thorough resident charting
Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements:

Active Wisconsin RN License (must be current)
Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification
1+ year of nursing experience preferred (LTC experience ideal)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work holidays as required
