Position Summary
This role supports wellness promotion, disease prevention, and accommodations for students with disabilities while ensuring care is delivered professionally, compassionately, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise LPN/LVN staff
• Dispense prescribed medications and assist with physical exams for new enrollees
• Maintain accurate medical records and individual student charts
• Monitor infirmary patients and ensure follow-up care as ordered by providers
• Order, receive, and manage medical supplies and medications
• Assist with wellness initiatives, weight improvement programs, and health education
• Screen and address student health concerns, referring to the Health & Wellness Director as needed
• Ensure compliance with all DOL, PRH, CDSS, QAP, and the policies and procedures
• Participate in staff meetings, required trainings, and quality improvement efforts
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and Career Success Standards

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Additional Requirements

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and professional healthcare environment
