Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Opportunity – Salisbury, MD

Direct Hire | Full-Time 

Position Overview

• Seeking a Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) specializing in cardiac and peripheral vascular patient care
• Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry-monitored environment
• Functions as a patient advocate while delivering care aligned with ANA Standards and the Nursing Process
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes

Shift Details

• Days, evenings, nights, or combination based on departmental needs
• Required weekend rotation
• Scheduled off at least three holidays per year
• Occasional overtime as needed

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($33.00 – $52.80/hour)
• Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide continuous telemetry monitoring for cardiac and vascular patients
• Administer medications and manage limited critical infusions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Utilize clinical equipment and technology safely and effectively
• Serve as a patient advocate while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of permanent residency
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification obtained during orientation
• Strong cardiac/telemetry experience preferred
