Travel CT Technologist – Jackson, MI

Position Overview

A busy hospital in Jackson, MI is seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to support variable 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires strong CT competency, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Ideal for a tech who thrives in high‑acuity settings and is comfortable assisting with patient transport to and from the ED.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Radiology
• Active ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital CT experience
• Prior experience in a fast‑paced, independent workflow
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to complete training

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT imaging exams with accurate positioning and adherence to radiation‑safety standards
• Work independently across variable 12‑hour shifts in a busy hospital environment
• Assist with transporting patients to and from the ED
• Maintain proper documentation and follow all facility, state, and ARRT guidelines
• Communicate effectively with providers, nursing, and radiology staff
• Ensure equipment readiness and report any service needs
• Provide patient‑centered care with professionalism and clarity
