Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Contract (13 Weeks)

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Primary: 4 × 9-hour shifts with a 7:30 AM start time
• Alternative: 5 × 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) available upon request

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, strong patient care skills, and the appropriate credentials to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain radiation safety and quality control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to ensure continuity of care
• Document procedures, patient data, and quality records per facility guidelines
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• Active New Jersey state licensure as required for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
• Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine
• RT(N) (Radiologic Technologist — Nuclear Medicine) OR CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
