Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 3 days per week
• Shift times:
  • Days & Nights: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM / 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM

Position Summary

The Level 3 ER Registered Nurse provides high-quality emergency healthcare services to patients of all ages, ranging from minor medical conditions to critical trauma cases. This role requires advanced clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Night shift experience is preferred, with a strong preference for candidates having 5 years of ER experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, recognizing and prioritizing emergent and life-threatening conditions
• Initiate emergency interventions independently when a physician is not immediately available
• Operate and monitor emergency and critical care equipment, including:
  • Infusion pumps
  • Pulse oximeters
  • Ventilators
  • Cardiac monitors
• Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and other treatments that may alter hemodynamic or respiratory status
• Accurately document patient assessments, nursing interventions, treatments, and care coordination
• Coordinate care delivery plans and ensure proper documentation across interdisciplinary teams
• Assign and delegate care responsibilities based on staff competencies and patient needs
• Maintain adequate unit supplies, equipment readiness, and a safe patient care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience (5 years preferred)
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements, including:
  • Background check
  • Drug screening
  • Credentialing clearance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
