CT Tech – Night Shift (ER)
Burbank, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 4x10 (7:00 PM – 5:00 AM)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a night shift ER-focused role in a fast-paced Acute Care Hospital. This position supports Emergency Department imaging, trauma cases, and both adult and pediatric patients. Ideal for techs who thrive in high-volume, rapid-response environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Conduct imaging of head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spine
- Perform contrast administration and start peripheral IVs
- Execute CTA, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and trauma imaging
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and utilize PACS
- Complete post-processing and multiplanar reconstructions (MPR)
- Support stroke, ICU, NICU/PICU, and emergency imaging needs
- Maintain image quality, patient safety, and workflow efficiency
- Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
Required Qualifications
1+ year CT Tech experience
ARRT (CT) & ARRT (R)
BLS Certification
Community Hospital Experience REQUIRED
Comfortable working in a high-volume ER
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted
Preferred Qualifications
Trauma Level I experience
Pediatric / NICU / PICU imaging experience
Epic charting experience
Strong trauma and emergency imaging skills
