The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.

• Shift Hours (Specific days of week with shift details): 7p-7:30am, assigned weekends and assigned holidays
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Shift Hours: every other weekend
• Call Requirements (Specific days of week with shift details): no on call
• Required Certifications (i.e. BLS, ACLS, NRP, ARRT, AWHONN, etc.): BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM
• Years of Experience: 3+
• Float Requirements: Labor and delivery and Post Partum

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds, 16 Post Partum Beds, 2 OR and 2 Recovery Bays
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-1:3 in labor, 1:6-1:8 in post partum
• Equipment: Fetal monitoring, Infant Warmers, FSE, IUPC
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
Labor and delivery - management of labor, FSE, IUPC, epidural care
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
Prefer 3+ years experience
• Type of Patients on Unit:
Laboring mothers, antepartum patients, post partum patients, gyne surgery patients
• Personality Fit: team oriented, hardworking, able to manage emergency situations, willing to step in and help others on the unit
