Description
5 years EXP and 3 years critical care. Minimum 2 years in ASC setting.**
**EPIC experience required**
Job Description: : Accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. This role is in the Day Surgery Unit which includes adult and pediatric patients; candidate must be able to work in pre-op/ PACU and post-op areas.
Requirements:
-BLS(AHA)
-ACLS
-PALS
-CA RN Licensure
- EPIC Experience
- 5 years of experience as inpatient PACU RN and/or experience in an outpatient surgical setting.
Shift: 4x10s variable, 0600-0930 start times. No on-call, no weekend
*closing shift, 0930-1800 may be required to stay late if patient does not meet discharge criteria*
**NOTE ABOUT 23HR STAY PATIENTS -
I want to make sure that RNs are aware that our 23hr stay is not set in stone. We will need flexibility from them. Though we will do our best to communicate immediately, some of our patients requiring 23hr stay may be booked w/ only 24-48hr in advance.
