Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

Call Required: Yes, No exceptions

Requirements:

Current, valid State RN License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
Minimum 1 year perioperative experience or equivalent training
Open-heart experience required
Pre/Post-Op experience required
CNOR (AORN) preferred
BSN preferred

Job Summary:
The OR RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists; supervising OR staff; ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards; participating in performance improvement activities; and maintaining quality patient flow. Reports to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services.

Must be able to take call.

Minimum 1 year perioperative experience or equivalent training Open-heart experience required Pre/Post-Op experience required CNOR (AORN) preferred
