- Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM, Thursday to Wednesday; 7 on, 7 off schedule)
Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Knowledge of processing CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
Requirements
- Certifications:
- CT certified
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Toshiba / Canon Aquilion CT equipment
- No RTO (Requested Time Off) during the assignment
Additional Information
- Housing must be secured at the time of acceptance.
- AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) must be obtained for all Florida placements.
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited AMA school and licensed as a general radiographer in the state.
