Description

Title: Registered EEG Technician

Location: Akron, OH

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Mid Shift – 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM); Every other weekend required (Friday off when scheduled to work weekend); Holidays as needed

Job Responsibilities:

Perform EEG studies in an EEG Monitoring unit
Set up, monitor, and maintain EEG equipment for accurate neurological recordings
Monitor patients during EEG procedures and ensure patient safety
Recognize and document abnormal waveforms and report findings appropriately
Maintain accurate documentation per facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support neurological diagnostics
Complete ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments (must pass within 2 attempts)
Comply with facility policies including badging, fingerprinting, and pre-start requirements
Adhere to nicotine-free facility requirements (negative nicotine screen required unless exempt)

Required Qualifications:

Registered EEG Technician
Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required
Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel
Active certifications with nothing pending
One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in specialty) required at submission
