Description

Title: Registered EEG Technician

Location: Akron, OH

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Mid Shift – 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM); Every other weekend required (Friday off when scheduled to work weekend); Holidays as needed

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform EEG studies in an EEG Monitoring unit
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain EEG equipment for accurate neurological recordings
  • Monitor patients during EEG procedures and ensure patient safety
  • Recognize and document abnormal waveforms and report findings appropriately
  • Maintain accurate documentation per facility protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support neurological diagnostics
  • Complete ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments (must pass within 2 attempts)
  • Comply with facility policies including badging, fingerprinting, and pre-start requirements
  • Adhere to nicotine-free facility requirements (negative nicotine screen required unless exempt)

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered EEG Technician
  • Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required
  • Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel
  • Active certifications with nothing pending
  • One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in specialty) required at submission
