Position Overview:
- Provide direct, data-driven speech and language therapy, develop and implement compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and manage all necessary documentation for a diverse PreK–8 caseload, including those with communication deficits impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify communication disorders and determine eligibility for services, ensuring timely report completion.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech language strategies into the classroom environment and support overall student academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Prior experience working with a diverse caseload across PreK–8 grades and serving students identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in self-contained settings.
