Description
RN – Cath Lab | Glendale, CA
📄 Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Days | 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
⏱ Guaranteed: 36 hours per week

Unit Details
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (Mixed Lab)
• 3 Suites
• 8–10 cases per day
• Charting System: Cerner
• Acute Care Setting
Responsibilities
• Procedure setup and circulation
• Administer procedural sedation
• Continuous patient monitoring
• Hemodynamic monitoring (control room-based with patient visibility)
• Float between procedure room and control room as needed
• Work within a 3-person procedural team
Procedures Include
• Left & Right Heart Cath (diagnostic & interventional)
• EP studies
• Pacemakers & Defibrillators
• PICC & Central Line Placement
• Swan-Ganz Catheters
• Pleurovacs
• Stroke Interventions
Requirements
• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years Cath Lab Experience (Cath + IR required)
• Prior Travel Experience Preferred
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• COVID Vaccination
Call Requirements
• 1–2 weeknights per week (after 5:00 PM)
• 1–2 weekends per month (24-hour call: 6:30 AM – 6:30 AM)
• 30-minute response time
• 1 major & 1 minor holiday
