Description

MRI Technologist

Shift: 12-hour Days (open to 8s or 10s if preferred)
Weekends: Required
Flu Vaccine: Required prior to start

EMR: Epic

Requirements

ARRT Certified – Required
BLS (AHA) – Required
2+ years of MRI experience
Experience with GE & Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
IV start and contrast administration experience required

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for MRI exams
Select and implement appropriate pulse sequences
Evaluate image quality and ensure exam completeness
Send images to PACS and verify exams accurately
Screen patients for implants and MRI safety
Start IVs and monitor for contrast reactions
Maintain accurate documentation and billing entries
Provide patient education and support during procedures
Participate in student/tech training and continuing education
