Description
MRI Technologist
Shift: 12-hour Days (open to 8s or 10s if preferred)
Weekends: Required
Flu Vaccine: Required prior to start
EMR: Epic
Requirements
- ARRT Certified – Required
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- 2+ years of MRI experience
- Experience with GE & Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- IV start and contrast administration experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams
- Select and implement appropriate pulse sequences
- Evaluate image quality and ensure exam completeness
- Send images to PACS and verify exams accurately
- Screen patients for implants and MRI safety
- Start IVs and monitor for contrast reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing entries
- Provide patient education and support during procedures
- Participate in student/tech training and continuing education
