Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Microbiology
Philadelphia, PA
$2,833 Weekly Gross
13 Week Contract | 40 Hours | Day Shift

GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist with a strong background in Microbiology for a 13 week contract opportunity in Philadelphia, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented MLS who thrives in a busy laboratory setting and is confident working independently in Micro.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,833

Requirements

• MLS (ASCP) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Microbiology experience
• Strong experience receiving and processing microbiology specimens
• Experience working inside a Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC)
• Comfortable in a fast paced lab environment

This role focuses heavily on Microbiology specimen processing, including receiving, handling, and working with specimens safely within a BSC. Ideal candidates will have hands-on micro experience and strong lab fundamentals.
