Description

AUTO OFFER – RN, Ortho/Med-Surg

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Trauma I experience required

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year nursing experience
Illinois RN license
BLS (CPR) required
ASN required, BSN preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication

Job Overview:

Provide safe nursing care for ortho and med-surg patients, including assessment every shift
Educate patients on wound care, mobility, self-care, medication, and care transitions
Coordinate care with physicians and surgeons
Delegate and monitor tasks of healthcare team staff
Set up and manage ortho traction and surgical devices
Manage wound appliances like wound vacs, drains, and urological devices
Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols
Support patient and staff safety
