Position Details

Job Title: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Med-Surg Adult / Med-Surg Peds
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective and efficient patient care while achieving optimal patient outcomes.

The role supports the organization’s vision and mission while incorporating patient age and cultural diversity into care delivery. The RN contributes to quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient care outcomes.

Education & Licensure Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current California RN License
Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to effectively utilize the nursing process
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Interpret diagnostic tests
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with healthcare providers
Provide patient and family education
