Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Pecos, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

5 days a week, Monday to Friday
Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Call rotation required

Job Description

50:50 CT/XR imaging ratio
Seeking well-rounded individuals with reputable imaging skills

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification in CT required
Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience Requirements

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech)
Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 2 years typical for CT Tech roles unless otherwise specified

ARRT (CT) certification

ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications as required (typically not mandatory for CT Tech but may be requested)
State License primary source verification
NURSYS verification (if applicable)
Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Competency exams as applicable to specialty
Facility-specific flu vaccination or declination form required
Physical exam within last 12 months
Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
9-panel drug screen within a year of start
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Notes

If certified in X-ray and proficient/cross-trained in CT, a different pay rate applies (not included here)
Teamwork and strong imaging skills emphasized
Locals may apply at the same rate as travelers
