Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Pecos, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
  • Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Call rotation required

Job Description

  • 50:50 CT/XR imaging ratio
  • Seeking well-rounded individuals with reputable imaging skills

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in CT required
  • Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech)
  • Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 2 years typical for CT Tech roles unless otherwise specified
  • Prior travel experience: Not required

Certifications & Licenses

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • Texas Medical Board license for CT Tech
  • AHA BLS certification

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
  • Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
  • Background check: 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
  • Education verification upon request
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications as required (typically not mandatory for CT Tech but may be requested)
  • State License primary source verification
  • NURSYS verification (if applicable)
  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Competency exams as applicable to specialty
  • Facility-specific flu vaccination or declination form required
  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • 9-panel drug screen within a year of start
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Notes

  • If certified in X-ray and proficient/cross-trained in CT, a different pay rate applies (not included here)
  • Teamwork and strong imaging skills emphasized
  • Locals may apply at the same rate as travelers
