Description
General Information:
12 Hour Variable
• Level II Trauma Center/Rural South Dakota
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
• Types of Patients:
• Heavy trauma population - Falls, MVAs, GSW, Stabbings, etc
• Will scan throughout various areas - Inpatient/ED/Outpatient, will do higher level scans such as Angiograms, etc.
Equipment Types:
• Siemens only - 4 Scanners within the department
• Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ARRT-CT
• Education Requirements:
• Must graduate from a Radiology Program that will allow them to sit for (ARRT)(R) (CT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification with advanced certification in Cat Scan
• No State licensure is required
• Skills required:
• CTA (preferred)
• Team oriented; Experience in comparable facility (size/acuity)
• Charting System:
• EPIC (preferred)
