Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Call: None
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend & holiday rotation
EMR: EPIC

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services in a hospital setting.
The therapist may work across PICU and NICU units and must be comfortable with advanced respiratory equipment and critical care environments.

Requirements

Minimum 36 months of hospital/medical center respiratory care experience
PICU and/or NICU experience required
Experience with HFOV, Jet, and Servo-U ventilators (highly preferred)
EPIC EMR experience required
NRP or PALS certification required
All certifications and Iowa RCP license must be in hand

Certifications Required

BLS (AHA)
PALS or NRP

License Requirement

Active Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
