Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO. This opportunity is within a premier Western Colorado healthcare facility experiencing increased patient volume and expanding its rehabilitation team.
Start Date: March 3, 2026 (ASAP consideration)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Days
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule Note: Weekdays will vary and will include a Saturday rotation
This position offers a full-time outpatient setting focused on improving patient function, strength, mobility, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Treat a variety of orthopedic and functional diagnoses
- Improve patient strength, range of motion, balance, and overall function
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Colorado PT license (DORA) or Colorado compact license
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience required (3–5 years preferred)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current seasonal flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted; must be from current flu season Oct 1 – April 1)
- Traveler must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (radius rule)

- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 37-bed Level III Trauma hospital
- Housing Opportunity:
- Remodeled, fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments available approximately ½ block from the hospital
- Includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry
- No pets permitted
