Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Farmington, NM. This position supports both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services within a Level III Trauma hospital.

Start Date: March 2, 2026 (ASAP consideration)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Department: Radiology – Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT

This facility serves the Four Corners region and supports a wide range of diagnostic and interventional services.

Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
Establish IV access and monitor patients during imaging procedures
Conduct post-processing of imaging studies
Maintain radiation safety protocols and compliance standards
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary team members
Document patient care and imaging results in Cerner

Common studies include cardiac, bone, and gallbladder imaging.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
Active New Mexico state license
PET/CT experience required
BLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Strong IV skills and post-processing experience

Additional Details

Periodic on-call required:
- Every 3rd week
- Typically 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- May include weekdays and/or weekends
40 guaranteed hours per week
Level III Trauma facility
Equipment:
- GE 5-ring PET/CT
- GE Hawkeye SPECT/CT
- GE 830 SPECT Camera (installation upcoming)
EMR: Cerner

Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT role in a Level III Trauma hospital. Must have ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and active NM license. PET/CT experience and strong IV skills required. On-call every 3rd week. 40 hours guaranteed, Monday–Friday schedule. Experienced Nuclear Med Techs only.
