Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lake Geneva, WI. This is a hospital-based imaging role with a weekday schedule and rotating weekend call coverage.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekend Call Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday only, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM) in Janesville, WI

This position supports Nuclear Medicine services and may assist with PET services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to reduce anxiety and ensure compliance
• Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately and safely
• Follow radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and associated systems
• Evaluate images and data for technical quality
• Process and manipulate digital imaging data for display and interpretation
• Utilize PACS and radiology information systems for documentation and image archiving
• Document procedures and medication reconciliation in the electronic medical record
• Order radiopharmaceuticals per vendor-specific protocols
• Report and document any safety incidents per protocol

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Strong venipuncture and IV skills
• Experience with hospital-based Nuclear Medicine procedures

Additional Details

• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating call every 3rd weekend (Saturday only)
• Level III Trauma, 25-bed hospital
• May assist PET services as needed
• Monday–Friday schedule
