Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Easley, SC. This position supports hospital-based nuclear medicine services and requires floating within the health system as needed.

Start Date: March 9, 2026 (ASAP consideration)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 Hour Day Shifts
Shift Time: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

This role requires strong clinical nuclear medicine experience and familiarity with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures
Conduct nuclear cardiology studies, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, renal scans, perfusion and ventilation studies
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
Process and evaluate imaging for technical quality
Follow radiation safety and radioactive material handling protocols
Utilize Epic EMR and PACS for documentation and image management
Provide patient education and discharge instructions
Float to other campuses within the health system as needed

Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Requirements

ARRT (N) certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Strong experience with:
- Nuclear Cardiology
- HIDA Scans
- Gastric Emptying
- Whole Body Imaging
- Renal/Perfusion Studies
- Pharmacologic and Exercise Stress Testing
Strong IV and venipuncture skills
Experience handling and disposing of radioactive materials

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions). COVID vaccine not required.

Additional Details

Floating required within the health system (only to qualified units)
40 guaranteed hours per week
59-bed hospital setting
Orientation held every Monday
Pre-start modules required (up to 16 hours reimbursable)
Must reside 100+ miles from facility to qualify for travel rate (radius rules apply)

Hospital-based Nuclear Med Tech role requiring ARRT (N), 2+ years of experience, and at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience. Strong nuclear cardiology and stress testing experience required. Floating within the system required. Flu vaccine required with no exemptions. 40 hours guaranteed. Experienced Nuclear Med Techs only.
