Job Overview

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Vidalia, Georgia. This role supports a community hospital Radiology department providing diagnostic nuclear imaging services.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 Hour Day Shifts
Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Hours: 40 scheduled hours per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This is a weekday day-shift position with consistent scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ALARA practices
• Operate nuclear imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide education as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain equipment and adhere to department protocols

Requirements

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification required
• BLS certification required
• Completion of Nuclear Medicine skills checklist
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Additional Details

• 52-bed Level IV Trauma community hospital
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Overtime applies after 40 hours in a Sunday–Saturday work week
• Mandatory onboarding modules required prior to start
