Description

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 40-hour/week position in a high-functioning cardiovascular lab.

This role requires strong scrub experience and the ability to function as first assist during interventional procedures. Candidates must be comfortable taking call and working independently in a procedural environment.

Schedule

4x10-hour shifts
6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
One night of call during the week
Every 4th weekend call

Call Requirements:

Weekday call: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM shift, then on call from clock-out until 7:00 AM
Weekend call:
- Friday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM call
- Saturday 24-hour call
- Sunday 24-hour call (until 7:00 AM Monday)

Responsibilities

Function as first assist to physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures
Perform table panning and camera movement
Scrub for:
- Left & Right Heart Cath
- Coronary Interventions
- Peripheral procedures
- PE Thrombectomy
Assist with angioplasty and cardiac catheterization procedures
Document procedures appropriately

Requirements

ARRT required
BLS required
Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
MUST be able to scrub independently
Must be comfortable taking call
Not accepting candidates within 50-mile radius
Travelers must complete required labs within 72 hours of contract signing

First-time travelers accepted.

Equipment & Systems

Phillips X-Ray equipment
GE MacLab documentation system
Cerner charting

Experience with the specific systems is preferred but not required if strong scrub experience is present.

Additional Details

40 hours guaranteed weekly
13-week contract
Time tracked in facility timekeeping system and uploaded weekly

MUST be able to scrub and function as first assist — do not submit if unable to scrub. Strong interventional experience required. Call commitment is significant — confirm availability prior to submission. No local candidates within 50 miles.
