Job Summary – Position Information

Role: RN

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirement: 1–2 weekends of call during a 6-week schedule
Weekday Call: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (next day)
Weekend Call: 7:00 AM Saturday – 7:00 AM Monday
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and KY License
Required Experience: 2+ years
Float Requirement: EP Lab

Unit Information

Cath Lab Rooms: 6
Patient Ratio: 1:1 in procedure room (one case at a time)
Equipment: GE X-ray Systems
EMR Systems: McKesson Cardiology and Cerner

Hiring Profile

Must have 2+ years of Cath Lab RN experience
Must have McKesson experience
Must have Cerner experience
Must be willing to rotate and cover the UofL Cath Lab
Preferred: Structural heart experience
Preferred: Scrubbing experience
Preferred: Monitoring experience
Personality Fit: Detail-oriented
Strong troubleshooting skills required
Clear and concise communication skills required
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment required
