Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a critical access hospital setting. This position requires strong circulating skills and the ability to support a variety of surgical services, including obstetrics.

This is a hands-on role ideal for an independent, adaptable OR nurse comfortable working in a smaller hospital environment.

Schedule

• 5x8 Hour Day Shift
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• 13-week assignment
• Significant call requirements

Responsibilities

• Circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
• Assist with pain management procedures
• Support specialty clinics including podiatry and general surgery
• Circulate for C-sections and respond to OB surgical needs
• Participate in weekend and weeknight call rotation
• Maintain accurate documentation in CPSI (Evident) and Perigen (OB) systems
• Collaborate with surgical and obstetric teams to ensure patient safety

Call Requirements

• Up to 15 days of call per month
• Weekend call: Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Weeknight call: Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Call response includes obstetrical and surgical emergencies.

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN License (required at submission)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Circulating experience required
• C-section circulating experience required
• Ability to work independently in a small hospital setting

Central sterile experience is preferred but not required.
