Job Summary

A Hospital in Zanesville, OH, a Level 3 Trauma Center, is seeking a highly competent CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment on the afternoon/night rotation. This position offers blocked scheduling, providing excellent work-life balance for travelers. You will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting, supporting the Emergency Department and inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality CT scans, including trauma, neurological, and body imaging, according to established protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Must be proficient in operating Siemens CT equipment to produce clear, diagnostic-grade cross-sectional images.
• Trauma Support: Provide rapid-response imaging for trauma alerts in a Level 3 environment, coordinating closely with the ER team.
• Documentation: Utilize Epic EMR for accurate patient charting, order verification, and image tracking.
• Patient Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort, verify clinical history, and manage the administration of contrast media when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting.
• Technical Skills: Hard requirement for proficiency in Siemens hardware and Epic EMR.
• Licensure: * Must hold a currently active Ohio State License in Radiology.
  • ARRT (R) Registered.
  • ARRT (CT) Registered.
• Certifications: BLS/BCLS (AHA).
• RTO: The facility cannot support significant Requested Time Off (RTO) for this contract.

Assignment Details & Expectations

• Schedule: 16:00 – 04:30. Blocked scheduling provided.
• Weekend/Call: * Every 3rd weekend required (16:00 – 04:30).
  • On-call requirement every 11th weekend.
• Holiday Coverage: Required as per unit rotation.
• Cancellation Policy: Per the updated BSA, the facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
