Description

Position: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Des Moines, IA 50309
Contract duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Shift: Nights 3x12-Hour 6:30PM - 6:30AM
Guaranteed Hours per week: 36hrs

Submission Requirements:

2.5+ years of Respiratory care experience in hospital/medical center setting [required]
PICU / Pediatric intensive or NICU / neonatal intensive experience - may work across picu/nicu floor [required]
Equipment experience: HFOV/High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, Jet, Servo U [highly preferred]
CRTs accepted
ALL certs/IA RCP license in hand (IA licensing turnaround time varies)
NRP or PALS certified [required]
EPIC electronic medical records experience [required]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

Work history/resume/employment history must have 2 years of current RRT / CRT - Respiratory Therapy experience [required]
Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Respiratory Therapy) – [required]
IDPH / Iowa Department of Public Health / Respiratory Care and Polysomnography – [highly preferred] [document]
AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS / basic life support – [required]
NBRC / National Board for Respiratory Care -- [required]
PALs / pediatric advanced or NRP / neonatal resuscitation certificate [required]
