Description
UNIT: OBSERVATION
Minimum Experience: 3 years. 1 travel assignment REQUIRED
Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED.
Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS. ACLS required Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Float Requrements: Float to all inpatient units as needed
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Unit Information: 8 bed unit- 2 RNs on each shift 1:4 patient ratio Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance. Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre -op, Urology and GI, Drips (Drips include, but not limited to: Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
