Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to provide onsite primary care at an employer-based health center in Liverpool, NY. This locum assignment focuses on comprehensive family medicine in a patient-centered, advanced primary care model for an employee population and their families.

• Travel: No travel; single-site, local onsite role only

Patient Population & Scope

• Specialty: Family Medicine / Primary Care in an employer-based clinic
• Ages: 2 and up
• Volume: Typical primary care panel
• Clinical focus includes:
  • Preventive and wellness care
  • Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, HTN, hyperlipidemia)
  • Same-day/acute care visits
  • Occupational health and workers’ compensation (preferred but not required)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope family medicine services for pediatric and adult patients in an onsite employer clinic setting.
• Perform evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses, including appropriate follow-up and care coordination.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with New York State NP regulations.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the EMR.
• Collaborate with the Floyd Lee Locums clinical team and the onsite health center staff as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or NP with family medicine focus.
• Minimum 2–3 years of post-certification NP experience.
• Current BLS (AHA-approved).
• Active DEA registration in NY.
• Comfortable practicing independently within New York’s collaborative practice requirements.

Preferred Profile

• Prior experience in primary care, employer-based clinics, or occupational health.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered, relationship-based approach to care.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
