Description

📌 Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT) | Cedar Rapids, IA

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Type: Nights
Shift Schedule:

Thursday/Friday: 1800–0630
Tuesday: 1400–0230
36 hrs/week

Department Info:

Equipment: Toshiba Aquilion One 640-slice, Siemens 128-slice
Average cases per 24-hr period: 80–90
Part of a busy ER and stroke center, performing many brain perfusion exams using RapidAI
Cross-training in X-ray not required; Ultrasound staffed 24x7
EPIC and McKesson PACS used, after-hours reading via Real Radiology, Clario recently implemented
Patient transport support available; CT techs may occasionally assist X-ray morning portables

Requirements:

ARRT (CT) – Required
At least 24 months CT experience in hospital or clinical setting – Required
Iowa Radiology License – Required (non-licensed candidates must apply upon acceptance)
BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required
