Tell us about the unit(s):<ul><li>Number of Beds –  19 Ambulatory Surgery</li><li>Type of equipment –  Suction, Oxygen, Vein finder, Bladder Scanner, Glucose machine, clippers, Meditech- documentation in OR module</li><li>EMR –  EMAR</li></ul> Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.<ul><li>BLS</li><li>Pre op and Post op experience in Ambulatory Surgery Dept., Good IV stick</li></ul> Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.<ul><li>ACLS</li></ul> List typical procedures performed on unit:  <ul><li>Pre op patients, prep patients for surgery, post op care</li><li>Pre op care of and post op care of:  Interventional patients, CT bx, Open heart patients- pre op, Total joint, Choley, Urology surgeries, children- teeth and tonsillectomy surgeries, spine surgery, hysterectomy, etc… </li></ul> Best personality Fit:<ul><li> Team player, able to multi-task, quick learner, self-starter, flexible with schedule, excellent bedside manner,</li></ul>REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:<ul><li>BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred</li></ul>Floating Area(s):<ul><li>Possible to assist ENDO to pre op patients- start IV’s</li></ul>
