Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Contract)
Shift: Nights | 36 Hours per Week
Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 2:30 AM
• No weekends
• No on-call requirements

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CT Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department in Cedar Rapids, IA.
• This facility operates one of the busiest emergency departments in Iowa and is a certified Stroke Center, performing a high volume of advanced neuro and brain perfusion studies.
• The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on night shift and comfortable in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Conduct advanced neuro imaging, including brain perfusion studies
• Utilize RapidAI software for Intracranial Hemorrhage (ICH) analysis
• Operate Toshiba Aquilion One 640-slice and Siemens 128-slice CT scanners
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and transfer via EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists using Real Radiology for after-hours interpretation
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation safety standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records

• Clario (newly implemented)
• RapidAI software

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification – Required
• Minimum 24 months of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting – Required
• Experience with:
  • Toshiba Aquilion One 640-slice scanner – Required
  • Siemens 128-slice scanner – Required
• Iowa Radiology License – Required
  • Non-licensed candidates will be accepted but must apply upon offer acceptance

Certifications Required

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
