Description

Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) – Cardiac Surgery

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (6:45 AM – 2:45 PM; start/end times may vary). Call and weekends required.

Job Responsibilities:

Function as a Surgical Technologist within the Cardiac Surgery OR.
Provide scrub support for open heart, cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
Maintain sterile field, prepare instruments and supplies, and anticipate surgeon needs during complex cardiovascular cases.
Participate in required call rotation and weekend coverage.
Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/campuses as required.
Work in a short-term acute care setting using Epic charting system.
Comply with facility call-off policy (up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment).

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required.
Open heart, cardiac, vascular, and thoracic scrub experience required.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
State or compact licensure as applicable.
Epic experience required.
