Virginia Nursing License

Description

2 years of experience required

Number of Beds: 5 pre-op, 5 post-op and 2 procedural rooms

· Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2

· Unit staffing description- All RN staff

· Type of equipment: bedside monitors, EKG machine, Endoscopic procedural equipment

· Documentation system: Expanse

· Scheduling requirements:4-10-hour shifts with on call weekends & after hours

· Floating policy: May float to local HCA Endoscopy facilities or pre-op/PACU

· Patient Experience requirements: 1- year endoscopy experience required

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS/BLS

Must have: Endoscopy procedural experience

Procedures performed on unit: Colonoscopies, endoscopies, ERCPs

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

· Blue scrubs (light blue preferred, may wear light blue)
