Description
DAYS - 10hr: 7-5:30pm - call 8/9 days per month (call starts at 5:30p on weekdays and 24 hours on the weekends)
AFTER HOURS CALL IS REQUIRED - Must be able to take STEMI call
*** MUST POSSES RECENT CATH LAB AND IR EXPERIENCE. MUST BE ABLE TO USE C-ARM ***
Must HAVE at least ONE of the three below:
- ARRT: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists WITH Texas Medical Board (TMB) license
- RCIS: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (preferred)
- RCES: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
• Prepare the room for examination.
• handle patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes, or other devices, and monitor patient during imaging.
• demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs and equipment therapy.
• administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
• process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments, or repeat procedures as needed
