Description

Job Summary:

Provides safe, effective, and quality nursing care to assigned patients in an acute care setting. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patient condition and modify care as needed
Administer medications and treatments safely
Provide patient and family education
Document care accurately per hospital policy
Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise care team members
Ensure culturally competent and patient-centered care
Support safe patient handoffs and care coordination

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years acute care experience required
Graduate of accredited RN program (ADN or BSN accepted)
Active California RN License
AHA BLS required
NRP required
Strong communication and documentation skills
